Chanel Rion founded Founding Code to keep a daily record of the Constitution as it meets the machine — for the lawyer with a hearing at ten, the organizer with a council meeting at seven, and the citizen who intends to remain both.
She holds an A.L.B. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Regent University. Her specialty is the crossing of artificial intelligence and civil liberty, read through an originalist Constitution and a frankly pro-capitalist, pro-innovation lens. New tools, in her view, do not receive a waiver from the Bill of Rights; nor should the law become a brake on the American genius for making them.
A journalist by trade and a lawyer by training, she built this desk as a brief: dense, ordered, and compiled before the first hearing. She is the founder of the National White House Correspondents' Association, a project in press freedom and viewpoint diversity — the same instinct that organizes these nine beats. She is the Primetime Host of Fine Point with Chanel Rion on OAN.
She brings a holistic, pro-constitution, pro-innovation eye to a field that too often speaks in one, statist accent. Founding Code is a project she builds and maintains.
